Re: your letter of 22 dec 10

Dear Sir:

I am willing to offer you 75.00, the amount of my holiday bonus, to settle this matter.

I want you to quit harassing me, my family and friends, and for that matter everyone else.

I want you to lift the garnishment that you have asked to be imposed, under color of law, on my wages from earnings, my unemployment benefits and my student loans.

I expect and require that you report that this matter is settled to the courts and all other persons, as well as credit reporting agencies.

I will ask that the Judgment be vacated and the matter closed, unless you wish to do so immediately, saving us both of us further time, expense, and inconvenience.

Sincerely,

Lewis Headrick

No fire like greed

Woke up this morning after yesterday's sort of all the debt related paperwork. I disturbed our early morning meditations by singing "Gate, gate, paragate, parasamgate, bodhi svaha." as an antidote for the disturbance I was feeling. Read a part of the "circumambulation of mt tam. " and remembered that the practice of chanting, prayer and meditation is an antidote for dealing with unsettled spirits. So, I am going to begin dealing with the Machoil, et al with my tools, poetry and song and wish them well.

"There is no fire like greed,

No crime like hatred,

no sorrow like separation,

No sickness like hunger of the heart,

And no joy like the joy of freedom.

Health contentment, and trust

Are your greatest possessions,

And freedom your greatest joy.

Look within.

Be still

Free from fear or attachment,

Know the sweetest joy of living in the way."
